First of all, I do not want to make the wrong impression that my life is "wine and roses". No sireee! I have the same problems as everyone else, probably worse, but it is just that I choose to be happy.
As human beings, we were given choices in our life. When we wake up in the morning, do we choose to be happy or sad? Of course we can choose "happy"!
But how do we do that if there are sad or stressful things all around us? Poverty, natural disasters, war... On a more personal level, you working wives and moms out there can certainly relate when I say my personal life can be overwhelming at times, what with trying to balance home life and work expectations, plus the budgeting! Whew!
But then, I (again) choose to FOCUS on the good, and then my disposition immediately shifts to light.
I started this blog to share my struggles as a woman who believes in and loves God, family and community. It is my hope that through this, I can inspire some of you to be HAPPY with your own lives BY CHOICE. Or at the very least, allow me to pull you away for awhile from life's pressures for some reading pleasure!
Life can be a merry-go-round... have fun!!!
Be happy!
Rissa
